On January 17th, the 10th EMBA Anniversary (and the Spring Forum) was held in Guanghua School of Management, Peking University. Liu Hanyuan, board chairman of Tongwei Group, was invited to the anniversary as an excellent student of the management school. Zhang Weiying, dean of the Guanghua School of Management, Wu Changqi, subdean of the school and Piao Gengxi, CEO of Samsung Group in Greater China presented. Li Yining, honorary President of the school, delivered an important speech. The Forum was hosted by Hu Yihu, famous host in Phoenix Satellite TV.

Zhang Weiying pointed out that the Guanghua School of Management launched a very important aspect in education reform, which has great meaning to education in the future. The reason why the project can be successful is that in Guanghua School of Management it is firmly believed that we insist on doing the right things and that if we insist on doing the  things, we can succeed in the end.　

In the forum, President Liu expressed his opinion on the present developing conditions of China’s private enterprises, saying that in market economy environment, we shall continue our entrepreneurship; otherwise we will fail in doing our business. Sincere and humorous, President Liu’s speech met with loud applause.

On facing the dilemma whether the entrepreneurs should enjoy their life or continue entrepreneurship, President Liu supported the idea of continuing entrepreneurship. He pointed out that, on the one hand, we can see there are something in common in the successful entrepreneurs so that the enterprises led by them can grow sustainably, on the other hand, the prosperity of private enterprises also benefits the whole society by providing more job opportunities, service opportunities and tax opportunity. Thus, President Liu concluded that to some extent, the excellent entrepreneurs are doing their work due to social responsibility and that their efforts contribute to China’s prosperity.
