July, 7, Sichuan Yongxiang Polysilicon Co., Ltd. started its 2nd phase construction of the 3,000-ton annual capacity polysilicon project in Leshan. Vice Governor of Sichuan Li Chengyun, Standing Committee member of the CPPCC, Board Chairman of Tongwei Group, Liu Hanyuan, and Secretary of Leshan Municipal Committee of the CPC, Tang Jian activated the project start button together.

　　On the same day, Leshan Yongxiang’s polysilicon project with an annual capacity of 6,000 tons officially laid foundation in Qianwei Leshan. The inception and foundation laying of these two projects marks Yongxiang’s progress towards a 10,000-ton grade polysilicon production base.

　　Mr. Liu Hanyuan addressed the ceremony, and expressed his wish for Yongxiang to become the world’s influential polysilicon producer and new energy enterprise with its first-class technology, first-class quality, and first-class speed.

　　Yongxiang strives to become China’s biggest polysilicon manufacturer in 3 to 5 years. So far, its first phase 1,000-ton project has completed. The second phase of 3,000 tons will be commissioned next July.
